With heavy hearts in the wake of the tragic shootings in downtown Dallas this week, Doctors Souryal, Bellard, and Blumenthal express their sorrow at the start of the show and callers add their insights about strength in diversity, pain, and growth in our country.

Later the doctors explain thoracic outlet syndrome in depth, the breakdown of joints due to arthritis, the pros and cons of knee replacement, and discuss the time, knowledge, commitment, and passion it takes to become a surgeon. A medical student asks if his path will be worth the years of study and expense. An athlete and nurse has questions about stem cell regeneration for humans- a process she has used for her horses. A 20 year old has had many knee injuries and subsequent arthritis and would like to know how to reduce his pain.

Ending on a positive note, Dr. Souryal calls for support for all those who run toward danger to help our society. Let’s move forward.
